Sensors are available either in a hardwire or a wireless version. The sensors are connected to the FloodStopper™ System control panel and the panel is then wired to a HoneyWell valve on your water main.
To locate the source of the leak, the multi-zone control panel isolates the problem to one of the four zones. The leak can be quickly isolated to a particular sensor in that zone by checking for water at the sensor locations. The same process to isolate the sensor is used for the single zone control panel.
Once the leak has been corrected, simply press the Reset button and the water supply is restored.
FloodStopper™ Control Panels
The control panels are the "brains" of the FloodStopper™ System. They utilize microchip technology to receive and send information to stop a flood, as well as to warn you visually and in some models, audibly, of any problem.
What could be simpler !
- Where desirable, some models may be connected to your monitored Security Alarm System.
- For areas where wiring is difficult, sensors may be connected to the Control Panel by using optional Remote Transmitters.
